Horizon Media, a member of the Local Planet global network of independent media agencies, has won the Spectrum telecommunications operator’s media account, worth US$800 million.
Horizon Media, a shareholder in Nova Expressão, has secured the US media account for telecommunications operator Spectrum, valued at US$800 million (€728 million).
Spectrum is the fastest-growing telecommunications and pay-TV operator in the United States. The company operates across 41 states, serves approximately 31.5 million customers, and generated US$55 billion (€50 billion) in revenue in 2024.
“Nova Expressão, together with the entire Local Planet agency network, has high expectations following this news, given the scale of the win and the resulting technology transfer from which all will benefit,” the Portuguese media agency said in a press release.
Horizon Media, part of the Local Planet global network of independent media agencies, owns Blu, a data platform capable of generating and optimising highly personalised media campaigns based on real-time consumer insights. The tool is being integrated across other Local Planet agencies, including Nova Expressão.
