The third wave of the \u2018Vamos Lixar o Lixo\u2019 campaign, promoted by the Portuguese Environment Agency, starts on the 19th in Coimbra, with a roadshow that will also travel through the cities of Aveiro, Braga, Castelo Branco, \u00c9vora and Portim\u00e3o. The Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) is launching the \u2018Vamos Lixar o Lixo\u2019 communication and awareness campaign. The project warns of the excessive increase in waste production in Portugal during the summer and consists of a travelling truck, or roadshow, that will tour the country. The initiative starts on the 19th in Coimbra and will run until the end of the year. <\/p>

The creative concept was developed by Nossa, while Nova Express\u00e3o handled the dissemination of the initiative. This is the third wave of the campaign, which began at Christmas 2025, resumed in January and now returns for the summer. <\/p>

\u201cSummer is regularly the period with the highest waste production in Portugal. This year, this trend is expected to continue. With this action, we hope to involve communities in a problem that belongs to everyone, from the Algarve to Minho,\u201d explains Jos\u00e9 Pimenta Machado, president of APA, quoted in a press release. <\/p>

The campaign, which lasts 18 days, will travel through the cities of Coimbra, Aveiro, Braga, Castelo Branco, \u00c9vora and Portim\u00e3o. The roadshow trailer includes a quiz that tests the public\u2019s knowledge about waste separation, a sustainable consumption simulator that identifies the consumer profile, workshops for creating works of art with recycled materials, games for the whole family, among other activations. The project is also accompanied by a mural that, at each stop, brings together the excuses given for not separating waste correctly. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\"\"\/\t\t\t\t
