Nova Express\u00e3o is committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation, identified as REGULATION (EU) 2016\/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of April 27, 2016.<\/p>\n

As part of this commitment, Nova Express\u00e3o ensures that all its data subjects will be able to exercise their rights; to this end, a Data Protection Officer has been appointed in accordance with Articles 37, 38, and 39 of the aforementioned regulation.<\/p>\n

The acquisition of data from data subjects will be carried out through tools that will allow informed and positive consent, the identification of transparent data processing rules for the data placed under the custody of Nova Express\u00e3o, as well as the duration and proper basis for the retention of the data entrusted to Nova Express\u00e3o\u2019s safekeeping.<\/p>\n

Should there be a need to submit a complaint, the data subject may exercise this right by sending an email communication to media@novaexpressao.pt.<\/p>\n

This complaint will be handled through a formal complaint management process.<\/p>\n

Following the submission of the complaint through this channel, Nova Express\u00e3o will ensure that the data subject is kept informed at every stage of the complaint handling process, in a timely manner and in accordance with the provisions of the aforementioned regulation.<\/p>\n

Finally, Nova Express\u00e3o is developing a Privacy Management Policy that covers all aspects related to the implementation of a system for managing the privacy of data subjects\u2019 personal data; this policy will be disclosed and published in due course.<\/p>\n
